Chunky knit scarf - Knitting pattern

This knitting pattern will allow you to create a massive knit scarf with jumbo weight yarn and 25 mm knitting needles. Simply follow the instructions to make it yourself.

• Level- Easy
• Stitches and skills: Long-tail cast on, knit and purl stitches, cast off, weaving the ends.
• Time to finish: approx. 2-3 hours
• Size - approximately 20*200 cm (7,9*78,7 inches) 
• The thickness of a scarf should be approximately 5 cm. 1 stitch is approx. 3 cm wide.

What you need (not included)

• Yarn - approx. 1 kg of a jumbo weight yarn. The scarves on a photo are knitted from a jumbo weight yarn Merino Maxi by Knit Design Studio (weight yarn #7/ 10-12m per 100g/ 1-13 yards per 3,5 oz./ the thickness of a yarn is approx. 1-1,5 cm). Any other jumbo weight yarn that meets gauge and thickness can be used. The pattern is applicable to thinner yarns as well.
• Knitting needles - 1 pair of 25 mm (US 50) straight or circular knitting needles
• Tapestry needle and felting needle
