Chunky sweater - Knitting pattern

Knitting pattern for making a super chunky sweater. Massive, heavy and unusual giant sweater made from a jumbo yarn fits well with jeans, trousers or skirt. You can wear it as outerwear in the autumn-spring period.

• Level: Intermediate
• Stitches and skills: Long-tail cast on, stockinette stitch, knitting in the round, horizontal invisible seam, magic loop technique on circular needles, picking up the stitches for the sleeves, cast off, connecting the chunky yarn, weaving the ends.
• Time to finish: approx. 8-10 hours
• Sweater construction: The sweater is knitted in one piece with invisible shoulder seems and sleeves knitted on a round from the armholes.
• Sizes: the pattern is written in 3 sizes (S, M, L).
• The thickness of the sweater is approximately 3 cm. 1 stitch is approx. 3 cm wide.

What you need (not included)

• Yarn - approx. 2-2,2 kg of a jumbo weight yarn (weight yarn 7/ 10-12 m per 100g / the thickness of a yarn is approx. 1-1,5 cm). Any other jumbo weight yarn that meets gauge can be used. The sweater on a photo is knitted from a jumbo weight yarn Merino Maxi by Knit Design Studio (100 grams / 12 meters). 
• Knitting needles - 1 pair of 25 mm (US 50) circular knitting needles (100-120 cm length). The shorter length (40-50 cm) or double pointed needles are also possible for knitting sleeves on a round.
• Tapestry needle and felting needle
