The beanie hat may be matched with a scarf, snood or mittens in the same color, knitted from the the same or more chunky yarn.

Our chunky yarn is 100% handmade. It is hand-spun from 100% extra fine merino wool 18,5 microns from Italy. It is the best and premium merino quality in a market known for its extra softness and silkiness. It is a single ply, popular roving type yarn with a slight twist. Merino yarn goes through all necessary stages from fiber preparation to a spinning on a spinning wheel and washing to make lightly felted. This helps to fix the form of the yarn and get smooth textured surface with a unique look and soft feel. It allows knitwear to be more practical, prevents pilling and shedding.

Merino Wool Origin and Certifications
  • Extra fine merino wool tops used to the production of our wool come from both Australia and South America and are carefully selected in Italian factory to ensure constant quality over time.
  • Additionally, being of animal origin, the extra fine Merino wool top is biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly.
  • All lots are MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in a dyeinghouse in Italy which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.

  • Sizes - Standard (fits most women with head circumference 55-58 cm) and Large (for head circumference 58-61 cm) for larger heads, men's sizing, for curls or looser fit. For better sizing, you may include a note with your head circumference and desired beanie depth when placing your order.
  • Total depth (without brim turned up) - approx. 33 cm / 13 inches.
  • Depth with turn-up brim - approx. 23 cm / 9 inches.
  • Width (in a flat not stretched position) - approx. 23 cm / 9 inches.
  • Weight - approx. 200-250 grams
Care
  • Gentle hand wash (with a cool water, without any agitation, lay flat to dry).
  • Washing machine is also possible (using cold water only, delicate/wool cycle, without agitation, air dry only). But note that washing in a machine will make yarn thinner, harder to touch, some softness will be lost. ​
