Rolled beanie hand knitted from soft extra-fine merino wool in a chunky two-color striped design. This men’s winter hat features a naturally rolled brim, bold handmade texture and a relaxed casual shape.

The rolled brim gives the beanie extra volume around the edge and creates a slightly playful, fisherman-inspired look. It is warm, soft and comfortable to wear, while the thick merino wool stitches make it a statement accessory for cold weather.

This rolled beanie can be worn with wool coats, chunky scarves, knitted snoods and casual winter outfits. It is a good choice if you prefer a beanie with texture, volume and a less classic shape.

Our chunky yarn is 100% handmade. It is hand-spun from 100% extra fine merino wool 18,5 microns from Italy. It is the best and premium merino quality in a market known for its extra softness and silkiness. It is a single ply, popular roving type yarn with a slight twist. Merino yarn goes through all necessary stages from fiber preparation to a spinning on a spinning wheel and washing to make lightly felted. This helps to fix the form of the yarn and get smooth textured surface with a unique look and soft feel. It allows knitwear to be more practical, prevents pilling and shedding.

Merino Wool Origin and Certifications
  • Extra fine merino wool tops used to the production of our wool come from both Australia and South America and are carefully selected in Italian factory to ensure constant quality over time.
  • Additionally, being of animal origin, the extra fine Merino wool top is biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly.
  • All lots are MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in a dyeinghouse in Italy which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.

  • Beanie is available in two sizes: standard size (fits most with head circumference 55-58 cm) and larger size (for head circumference 58-60 cm.
  • Weight - approx. 200 grams


If you would like a deeper or more relaxed fit, you may include your head circumference and preferred beanie depth in the notes to the order.

Care
  • Gentle hand washing in cool water is possible if needed. Do not rub, twist or agitate the beanie. Lay flat to dry.
  • A fabric shaver may be used to refresh the surface if light pilling appears with wear. This is normal for soft natural merino wool.
  • Machine washing is not recommended, as it may change the yarn texture and reduce the softness and chunky look of the beanie.
