Description

Oversized turtleneck sweater hand knitted from soft Peruvian wool for a cozy, warm everyday feel. This sweater has a large rolled turtleneck collar, relaxed oversized fit and voluminous balloon sleeves, creating the same soft statement silhouette as our hand-spun merino version.

This sweater is now available in several knit pattern options. The main sample shows the Garter Stitch version, but you can also choose Stockinette Stitch or Moss / Seed Stitch for a different texture and look.

The fit, rolled collar, sleeves and overall shape remain the same for all options — only the main knit pattern changes. The stitch sample photo shows the available textures, so you can choose the version that feels most like your style.

Please note: the sweater photos show the original hand-spun merino version and are used to show the fit, shape and styling. The Peruvian wool version has a similar silhouette, but the texture is slightly lighter, more flexible and less heavy than the merino sweater. The knitting samples in Peruvian wool is shown in Dusty Pink wool.

This version is a good choice if you love the chunky turtleneck shape, but prefer a more practical and accessible wool sweater for everyday wear. It still feels warm, cozy and visibly handmade, while being slightly less heavy than our extra-fine merino version.

Care
  • Gentle hand washing in cool water is recommended. Use a mild wool detergent. Do not rub, twist or agitate the sweater. Gently press out excess water in a towel and lay flat to dry.
  • After washing, the yarn may lose some of its original fluffy look and become slightly smoother and more compact. This is normal for soft natural wool.
  • A fabric shaver is recommended to gently refresh the surface when light pilling appears. This is normal for chunky natural wool knitwear, especially in areas of friction such as the sleeves, sides and underarms. Regular gentle shaving helps keep the sweater looking neat, clean and well maintained.
  • Machine washing is possible only on a very gentle wool cycle in cool water, with low or no spin, but gentle hand washing is recommended for best results.
  • Do not bleach, tumble dry or use fabric softener.
