Description

Oversized chunky knit sweater hand knitted from soft Peruvian wool for a cozy, textured and more wearable everyday statement piece. This sweater has a relaxed oversized fit, wide high neck and long sleeves, with the same bold silhouette available in three knit texture options.

You can choose the knit texture for your sweater:

  • Diamond pattern - the most textured statement version, as shown in the red sample photos. It has a raised geometric pattern and the most sculptural handmade look.
  • Textured plain knit - a cleaner version with a soft garter-like surfacу, the same as shown but without diamond pattern in front.
  • Smooth stockinette knit - the simplest and cleanest version, with a smoother surface and a more minimal chunky sweater look. This option is a good choice if you love the shape of the sweater but prefer cleaner minimalistic texture.

The fit, shape, wide high neck and relaxed sleeves remain the same for all texture options — only the knit texture changes.

This version is knitted from soft Peruvian wool, making it lighter, more flexible and more accessible than our hand-spun extra-fine merino version. It still feels warm, cozy and visibly handmade, but has a softer everyday feel and is slightly less heavy than our sculptural merino sweaters.

The sweater has a chunky high neck, relaxed dropped shoulders and long oversized sleeves. It works beautifully with jeans, leggings, wide-leg trousers or simple winter outfits when you want warmth, volume and a bold handmade silhouette.

This sweater has a very oversized fit. For a more regular fit, choose one size down. For an extra oversized look, choose one size up.

Care
  • Gentle hand washing in cool water is recommended. Use a mild wool detergent. Do not rub, twist or agitate the sweater. Gently press out excess water in a towel and lay flat to dry.
  • After washing, the yarn may lose some of its original fluffy look and become slightly smoother and more compact. This is normal for soft natural wool.
  • A fabric shaver is recommended to gently refresh the surface when light pilling appears. This is normal for chunky natural wool knitwear, especially in areas of friction such as the sleeves, sides and underarms. Regular gentle shaving helps keep the sweater looking neat, clean and well maintained.
  • Machine washing is possible only on a very gentle wool cycle in cool water, with low or no spin, but gentle hand washing is recommended for best results.
  • Do not bleach, tumble dry or use fabric softener.
