This pattern is designed to be knitted on 12 mm (US 17) knitting needles for a super bulky weight yarn but can be customized for any weight the double brim technique remains the same.
- Level: Intermediate
- Required Stitches and Techniques: Long-tail provisional cast-on (or alternative provisional cast-on method), knitting in the round, stocking stitch (stockinette), picking up stitches from a provisional cast-on, decrease, and weaving ends.
- Beanie Construction: Seamless knitting in the round on circular needles.
- Time to Complete: Approximately 2-3 hours.

What You Need (not included):
- 200 grams of super chunky/super bulky yarn (#6 weight). The beanie in the photo was made with super chunky handspun yarn MERINO MINI by Knit Design Studio, but other suitable yarns such as The Wool by We are Knitters, Malabrigo Rasta, Crazy Sexy Wool from Wool and the Gang, or HELLO MERINO by Knit Design Studio (approximately 80 meters per 200 grams) can be used.
- 1 pair of 12 mm (US 17) circular knitting needles (50-60 cm recommended, longer length possible for magic loop circular knitting method).
- 1 additional pair of smaller or the same size circular knitting needles (for picking up stitches from a provisional cast-on).
- Waste yarn in a contrasting color, approximately 120-150 cm (50-60 inches) for a provisional cast-on.
- Tapestry needle for finishing touches.
