Lightly oversized style chunky knit cropped woman sweater. Hand knitted from our own high-quality chunky handspun yarn, made from premium Italian merino wool (18.5 microns), this sweater features a nice moss stitch pattern, a round ribbed neck, 3/4 sleeves, shortened length and ribbed trims for added style and texture. Stylish, warm and cozy.

  • Color options -The sweater may be knitted in one color or in a combination of 2 to 4 colors from our palette of 70 amazing shades! The color №1 corresponds to the top of the sweater, while color №2, 3, and 4 are strategically placed, with Color №4 at the bottom. As example, the sweater on photos is knitted in colors Tulle (color №1 on a top of the sweater), Lily of the Valley (color №2), Etoile (color №3), Twilight (color №4).

Yarn Details

Our chunky yarn is 100% handmade. It is hand-spun from 100% extra fine merino wool 18,5 microns from Italy. It is the best and premium merino quality in a market known for its extra softness and silkiness. It is a single ply, popular roving type yarn with a slight twist. Merino yarn goes through all necessary stages from fiber preparation to a spinning on a spinning wheel and washing to make lightly felted. This helps to fix the form of the yarn and get smooth textured surface with a unique look and soft feel. It allows knitwear to be more practical, prevents pilling and shedding.

Merino Wool Origin and Certifications
  • Extra fine merino wool tops used to the production of our wool come from both Australia and South America and are carefully selected in Italian factory to ensure constant quality over time.
  • Additionally, being of animal origin, the extra fine Merino wool top is biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly.
  • All lots are MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in a dyeinghouse in Italy which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.

Care
  • Specialized dry cleaning once a season is recommended.
  • Gentle hand wash (with a cool water, without any agitation, lay flat to dry) is also available. But note that the garment may be rather heavy to wash it by hands.
  • Washing machine is also possible (using cold water only, delicate/wool cycle, without agitation, air dry only). But note that washing in a machine will make yarn thinner, harder to touch, some softness will be lost. ​
