The chunky multicolor scarf is crafted in a garter texture that shows off the yarn’s depth and gives beautiful drape without heavy weight. It’s long enough and pairs perfectly with our beanies and headbands for a coordinated winter set. Merino naturally regulates temperature and wicks moisture, keeping you comfortable on commutes, winter walks or weekend trips.

Yarn Details

Our chunky yarn is 100% handmade. It is hand-spun from 100% extra fine merino wool 18,5 microns from Italy. It is the best and premium merino quality in a market known for its extra softness and silkiness. It is a single ply, popular roving type yarn with a slight twist. Merino yarn goes through all necessary stages from fiber preparation to a spinning on a spinning wheel and washing to make lightly felted. This helps to fix the form of the yarn and get smooth textured surface with a unique look and soft feel. It allows knitwear to be more practical, prevents pilling and shedding.

Merino Wool Origin and Certifications
  • Extra fine merino wool tops used to the production of our wool come from both Australia and South America and are carefully selected in Italian factory to ensure constant quality over time.
  • Additionally, being of animal origin, the extra fine Merino wool top is biodegradable and therefore environmentally friendly.
  • All lots are MULESING FREE. The dyeing complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 and is done in a dyeinghouse in Italy which is GOTS 5.0 and GRS certified.

Care
  • Hand wash: cold water, mild wool detergent, minimal agitation. Do not rub or wring; gently press out water, roll in a towel, then lay flat to dry.
  • Machine wash (possible but not preferred): cold water only, wool/delicate cycle, low or no spin, air-dry flat. Expect some loss of loft/softness and slight yarn compaction.
  • Between washes: use a pilling remover (fabric shaver) to refresh the surface; air out after wear; spot clean as needed.
  • Avoid: bleach, fabric softeners, tumble drying, and heat.
