Description

Long oversized cardigan hand knitted from soft merino wool for a cozy, relaxed layered look. This chunky open-front cardigan has dropped shoulders, wide sleeves, ribbed cuffs and a long oversized shape that works beautifully over simple everyday outfits.

The cardigan is knitted from soft Highland Peruvian wool and has a warm, slightly fluffy handmade texture. It is lighter and more flexible than our jumbo merino wool cardigans, but still gives a bold chunky knit look. Wear it open over jeans, dresses or loungewear as a warm statement layer for autumn, winter, spring or cool summer evenings.

The cardigan has a truly oversized fit. Choose your regular size for a relaxed oversized look, size down for a more regular fit, or size up if you want an extra-large chunky cardigan.

Care
  • Gentle hand washing in cool water is recommended. Use a mild wool detergent. Do not rub, twist or agitate the cardigan. Gently squeeze out excess water in a towel and lay flat to dry.
  • After washing, the yarn may lose some of its original fluffy look and become slightly smoother and more compact. This is normal for soft natural wool.
  • A fabric shaver may be used gently if light pilling appears with wear.
  • Machine washing is possible only on a very gentle wool cycle in cool water, but gentle hand washing is recommended for best results.
