Chunky Cable Knit Scarf - Updated Version.

This chunky cable knit scarf is now available in an updated and improved version, knitted from our 100% Highland Peruvian wool instead of handspun yarn Merino Mini. The new yarn is slightly thinner and more even, which allows the cable pattern to look cleaner, neater, and more refined while keeping the scarf warm, cozy, and beautifully chunky.

Compared to the original version shown in the photos, this updated scarf is a little less bulky and slightly more practical for everyday wear, while still keeping the same bold, oversized look and rich chunky texture. We believe this version makes the cable design look even more elegant and polished.

This scarf is also reversible, so it looks beautiful from both sides.

  • Fiber: 100% Highland Peruvian wool (merino wool, 20 microns). Please note: the Yellow color has a different fiber content - 100% Australian merino wool, 21 microns

Sizes and scarf weight:
  • approx. 23x200 cm (9x78 inches) - approx. 800 grams
  • approx. 23x250 cm (9x98 inches) - approx. 1 kg

Because each scarf is handmade, slight variations are natural. A size difference of up to 5–7% is considered normal for this type of hand-knitted piece.

Care
  • Hand wash: cold water, mild wool detergent, minimal agitation. Do not rub or wring. Gently press out water, roll in a towel, and lay flat to dry.
  • Machine wash (possible, but not preferred): cold water only, wool/delicate cycle, low or no spin. Lay flat to air dry. Some loss of loft/softness and slight yarn compaction may occur.
  • Between washes: use a fabric shaver to remove pilling, air out after wear, and spot clean when needed.
  • Avoid: bleach, fabric softeners, tumble drying, and heat.
