2x2 Rib Stitch In the Round

How to knit 2x2 rib in the round instructions:

1. Cast on: Using the long-tail cast-on method or your preferred cast-on method, cast on a multiple of 4 stitches. 

2. Join in the round: Place a stitch marker to indicate the beginning of the round (optional). Be careful not to twist your cast-on edge, then join your cast-on stitches into a circle by inserting the right needle into the first cast-on stitch and knitting it with the working yarn from the left needle.

3. Round 1: Knit 2, purl 2. Repeat this sequence around the entire round.

4. Repeat round 1: Continue working in the knit 2, purl 2 pattern for every round. As you continue, you'll notice the ribbing forming. This 2x2 ribbing creates a stretchy, elastic fabric suitable for cuffs, hems, or the brim of a hat.

5. Continue knitting: Continue knitting in the round in the knit 2, purl 2 pattern until your project reaches the desired length.
